Visit visa question

I am planning to sponsor for my inlaws , My FIL is over 60 and MIL is below, does they both qualify for the drop box option or they have to go for in person interview

only 60+ qualifies for not having to attend an interview.

So you think my MIL needs to take an appointment to attend the interview?
