required original birth certificate or not ?

my husband is sponsoring my parents...they been rejected on 29th jan on base of 214 code ...so do we need to submit original of my birth certificate and original of my husband's birth certificate ?

If its mumbai consulate they often ask for the original Birth certificate of the blood relative i.e you in your case because its for your parents..
