Port of entry

Hi,
My parents visited us recently. They went one month back to India. Now my mother needs to come back in February as i am carrying a high risk pregnancy . Is it ok to tell the same reason to immigration officer and ask for 6 months stay (I-94)? Should we say its a pleasure trip or we need help or not mention anything at POE? She still has a valid visa.

After my MIL's first visit we all travelled to india and she came back with us after 4 weeks stay in India. She just said visiting daughter and sight seeing.... No problem she was given a 6 month I-94 again.

Would recommend not to tell the Immigration officer that you are expecting...
