Default My sister's visitor visa situation - Complicated

Hi:

I would like to bring my sister and her 2 kids for a US visit. She is a dentist. She is married but separated from her husband now. She is not officially divroced yet. She has some joint property docuemnts with her husband. We are not going to tell the embassy that she is separated. What are the hurdles involved here?

1) If she tells the embassy people that her husband is still iving in India and he will not be coming to the trip cos' he is busy in the work. I would like to use this as a trump reason to show the embasy that she has a valid reason to go back.

2) DOos she need to take marriage certificate?

3) Does my sister's husband got to sign a letter before my sitster goes to embassy, stating that he is fine with the trip etc.?

4) DOes my sister need to show that she is a dentist? Would this backfire on her? In particularly with kids applying for the visa as well.

5) My sister can show that she is managing the ancestor properties for my parents. We have some documents for that. WOuld this help?

Any other comments or advise, please email me. Thanks

Mahesh
