blue form 221g and no passport thru VFS.

Hello Seniors

I went to chennai consulate to get my H1 Visa stamping. VO didn't give me visa and gave form 221 G and asked me to use the VFS dropbox to submit all the documents once i get them. I have couple of questions.

a) On the page where they mark how to submit the documents, the VO asked me to use VFS drop box but also has written 'Dont send Passport!. I am just wondering what it means? added to that a letter stapled on passport stating your visa has been issued with 'annotation' and cannot travel to US before 26th September.

Has anyone in this forum experienced such kindof ? and what exactly the chances of getting visa once the us employer submit all the documents in VFS? and Whether the documents has to be submitted by US Employer directly or shall i request US Employer to send it to me to submit the same?

John, Your employer cacn't submit the documents directly or fax them. He Must send the documents to you and then u will hv to sumit at the drop box.

Yes i spoke to US consultant.. they are going to send me the documents in couple of weeks, once i receive it shall drop in VFS.
