Default pre-existing condition

My father recently had an angioplast done to clear a blocked artery. He is doing fine now. Dr's have also advised that it is ok for him to travel.

I was wondering whether there was any insurance that would cover him if he has complications while visiting us in the USA.Or does this count as a pre-existing condition that no inurance would cover? I am willing to pay a much higher premium if I have to.

Thanks!
