Default H1B 7th year Extension query

Hi
My 7th year visa application has been approved and I have the required 797 forms etc.

I have however been promoted in my company to Project manager and this is how my designation appears on the 'Employment Verification Letter'.

My company had earlier filed an extension with my designation as Sr Software engg.

Does this change in designation have impact when I appear for my visa stamping at a consulate outside of the US?

I am currently in the US and wish to travel to Canada for visa stamping.

Would appreciate a response.

Simran.
Thank you for your response. I do not have an LCA . I only have a 45 day letter which does not say much.

Thanks again

you are talking about a impact on ur H1 stamping, i didn't ask for GC LC. When u file a ext, a approved LCA is a must to get H1 approval.Check with ur immg lawyer.
