Smile Try this Offer from Airtel - Good

Hi all
This is 7.9 cents / min cheaper than reliance also they give these offers if u sign b 4 Jan
# "Double Talktime Value " during a subscriber's initial purchase of pre-paid minutes during registration for the Airtel CallHome Service . For example, if a subscriber registers for the Airtel CallHome Service and upon registration initially purchases $50.00 of pre-paid minutes, such subscriber will be provided with a one-time award of an additional $50.00 of pre-paid minutes; and

# "Double Talktime value" for the subscriber's first recharge of their account on or before Jan. 31st , 2007 . " First recharge " means the first time a subscriber chooses to purchase additional prepaid minutes following the subscriber's initial purchase of prepaid minutes during his or her registration for the Airtel CallHome Service. For example, if a subscriber who purchased an initial allotment of pre-paid minutes during registration for the Airtel CallHome Service chooses to purchase (or "recharge" their account) with $50.00 of additional pre-paid minutes, such subscriber will be provided with a one-time award of an additional $50.00 of pre-paid minutes for the first recharge only. Please note that the Promotion ends on Jan.7th, 2007 and the "double talktime value" for the subscriber's first recharge ends on Jan.31st, 2007 for only those subscribers who have registered within the promotion period, i.e., on or before 7th Jan. 2007 (till 12 pm Eastern Standard Time).

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Yes, my husband was also given the same feedback about airtel that customer service and connectivity both are poor though they are giving attractive promotional rate.

1-877-247-4047 number does not work often!!! Customer service number 1-877-247-5051 does not work AT ALL.

I had to email customer service to register my phone number. There is no provision to store abbreviated, frequently dialed number, the way Reliance offers.

Airtel has long way to go, to be called okay-okay service provider.
