credit card payment when going back to India

Hi!!
Can anybody tell me, the person who is going back to India after laidoff ; what will happen to the credit card balance.If they dont have anything to pay what will happen?
How credit card take back the money

If you don't pay & go your credit history is going to get ruined. If you never ever plan to come to US, no probs.
But if you come back next time, with bad chistory u'll won't even get an apt, forget about other things.
Take it very seriously
Try getting money from homeland if possible
