Default Need help with taxes

I am on a H1 visa. I was laid off by my client company in May 1st week last year. The consulting company who was holding my visa, never paid me after that but they didn't cancel my h1 either. They didn't terminate me nor did I resign. That time i didn't have any income & was living on my savings.
Then in October, I got another job thro an new employer who transferred my h1. I send an official resignation letter to my previous employer & joined the new job.

Now my old company has send me a W2 form which shows that I was paid upto May.

Being on H1, while filing for my tax now, what should I show for the period of May to Oct?
