For Traditional IRA, does spouse need to have green card ??
Hi,
Wanted to get an IRA for $2000 in my wife's name. She is on H4 without SS #. Is it allowed ??

I guess it should not a be a problem.
However best is to consult a CPA, OR even the Bank where you are seeking to do it, should be able to answer this question
