Default Tax excemption

I am doing online BS through accrediated university
in USA. I am on H1 Visa. I am paying tution fee
out of my pocket. Will there be any excemption
in the tax for tution fee payments? Thanks for your
help.

One of my friend did claim education fee exemption while filing for the taxes. That's what i know. FYI

You can claim a lifetime learning credit and get 1000$ credit (less tax by a 1000$ ) max
