Tax levies

I filed as married filing separately this year. Last year I claimed my wife and they took money from me that was owed by her ex-husband. This year we did not file together. There has been a delay in processing my return and I can'thelp but wonder if the IRS can still keep my return because I claimed my wife in the past. Does anyone know if they can?
