Default How charity donations help in tax returns ?

Hello,

I am student doing my masters in kansas. I do charity donation every month and it is time to file our tax returns. So can anybody help me how I can get use of my charity donations in getting more deductions in filing my tax returns for 2003 ? Appreciate your time and help.

if the organization provides you receipt , those are the proof against the tax claim, make sure that the organization is registered non profit and yr funds donations are tax exempted

Default Please clarify

Is is absolutely necessary to get a reciept from them,(knowing they are registered)for a donation amount of $500?I know their Reg no.,is that enough?
Please advise.
