uninsured parents in accident

hi
my friend's parents r involved in a major accident n r in ICU
insurance was from india n expired 1.5 months ago.
he works too much n the result was he did not get time to
renew it.
what can be done now?
my friend is fine (minor injuries) but is panicked.
please help

Unfortunatly, there is nothing much you can do about it.
Very first thing is to take care of the self health and also parents health. Hospital will be providing all the required services, and bill the person later.
No need to panic though, wait for the Hospital bill to come, and then your firned may try to reduce the amount by talking to the hospital management.
