Default My 2 cents on this Topic

Couple of thing I would like to mention here.

Most of the senior/aged people in this context “Parents” do have some kind of physical /medical problem which potentially falls under “Pre-existing” condition as per the visitor medical insurance clauses . And its quite obvious from a buyers perspective to think about a plan which covers such conditions. But unfortunately there is no such plan which covers “Pre Existing conditions.
Does it mean that - , “What is the meaning of buying a insurance which doesn’t really covers the diseases, which a person has more chances to suffer from or need medical attention?” .

No, but those may not be the only kind of suffering a person can have. There could be many things like accident, general fever/illness, any other medical emergency that’s when this insurance will be useful.

Also, don’t just go by this pre-existing condition clause, “This is the Dr. and hospital who will make the judgment whether the illness is due to any pre-existing condition or its not necessarily due to the that reason.” So what I mean here is if the person is diabetic and fell sick due to the “Flue” and visit a Dr., doesn’t mean that the person is sick due to the diabetes.

Visitor insurance is a short term medical coverage which can protect you for any big medical expenses due to any unpredictable medical/health/travel related problem.
Those who have gone through many other postings in this and other forum on net or heard, that what worst can happen if the person is un-insured and unfortunately met with an accident or emergency. This is where these insurances provide you some peace of mind.

My 2 cents ….!
