Default insurance from india network

Hi,

I bought insurance from India network for my MIL in 2000. Though I never utilised the insurance, one of my friend told that its good.

I am going to get the insurance again from India Network for my mom who will be visiting Sep 25th..

Default AIG repatriation benefit

We bought insurance from AIG via Indnet. We have not processed any medical bills yet but the insured passed away here in US. AIG Assist was of great help in repatriating the remains to India and they paid/(are paying) for everything to transport the remains.

Default indnet

I guess, indnet is acting like an agent for Inbound USA which is availble in Path2usa.com. I just compared their policies and prices. Indnet has almost similar coverage/exclusions and few dollars more than Inbound USA.

Then why not directly get it from path2usa.com.

Since I am also going to get insurance, just send me an email to jpkash@yahoo.com.. to discuss more...

Default India Net insurance

I hope you can call the underwriters and get more details of the benefits rather than the summary both Indnet and Path2USA provide. My experience says that you need to look at the fineprint before you say they both are equivalent. Find out who the underwriters are. IndNet uses AIG.

Default Re: India Network not an agent

Just to eliminate the confusion about these plans, underwriter and Ratings:

1. Both are Competent Plans or products, offerings are similar . Company is different. 2. Underwriter is just the Insurance Plan supporter and has nothing to do with someone's individual plan or claims unless its in Billions. 3. Ratings doesnt really defined by customers and are not about the Product itself. its about the underwriters overall financial balance sheet strength. And A means "Excellent" and bacially has nothing to do with one particular product.

4.Few difference which I can tell you with my own research and users feedback on this website is :a) You dont need any membership for Inbound plan and b)One more thing which is very important is the excellent service and support which is uncomparebale.

I will repeat all insurance providers/plans available in market have similar offerings.
example : Like your auto insurance Farmers/21centurey/Geico/Allstate etc etc..Now what make scdifference is the Support/ Service and trust.

And finally no matter which one you select as long as you are satisfy with your decision and you get what you deserve when it comes to use these plan.
