Default If the plan I decided available here I will buy from here

I have done a lot of research on this whole thing called Visitor Medical insurance and finally, recently bough insurance plan "Liasion" through this website for my Parents visiting me next week.

This is what I would say(My perspective):

1. Companies you mentioned do not offer short term medical insurance, with the visitor clause.

2. There are very few companies who are the underwriters of visitor insurance and you may find different plan name but most of them have similar coverage if they belong to same kind of category i.e. cheaper one and a Little expensive one.

3. No matter which website/agent you go , you find same plan listed and Rates are same, so why not to buy from this website for few good reasons:

a) Trust. I trust path2usa this website helped me in so many ways, right from the day I came to USA and even now when my parents got the visa. This website helped me a lot and I am sure must have helped many others.

b) I have noticed the response time for any question posted on the forum or through email is very prompt and authentic and reliable.

c)Such kind of unique information is no where on the net, with no charge.

d) I wont even mind paying for some of the information, even if I am asked to pay some nominal fee.

e) Even on the visitor medical insurance, look at the article and information it’s awesome I didn’t find such info any where else.

I guess your question should be "Why buy the Plans available on this website ?"
Rather then "Why buy from this site"?

and in positive sense I would say If you decide to buy a plan which is also available on this website then whets the harm if you buy from path2usa ? rates are same?

Buying from some other website which I don’t even know, I would rather support a source I know and has been helpful to me.

Atleast this the way I would like to support this great website and also would like to pay my thanks to creator/support of this website including Murali on this forum who has been proved a great help to me.
I hope/wish rather believe that this website should continue running with more and more information my good wishes are with path2usa...Kudos.

Default Please clarify about customer service

Not sure why path2usa blocked my question.

I was asking how the customer serive would be. I mean if we have any issue... shall we have to ask path2usa first, and then path2usa will inturn call to the actual insurance company or how does it works?

Also shall we have to pay money to path2usa or directly to the insurance company? Who will really administer the policy?

Default Re: will we get ID cards immediatly

Both , you get an email confirmation with a Virtual Id card you can take printout and ready to be used immidiately and you also receive a printed one via mail in few days.
I am not sure what excatly you mean by average ? there are basically 2 broad category from premeuim and coverage perspective "limited coverage plan" like Inbound and better coverage plan works like PPO is "Liaison" .
I would recommend you to read artciles/FAQ etc given on this website www.path2usa.com/Insuranc...urance.htm

If you still have any specific questions let me know.
Hope this helps.

Default a question on Max coverage?

Thanks for your response. Another question I have is "If I Max coverage 50000" will it cover for both wife and husband.

The amount which we have to pay to the provider is very clear , like deductable is per person etc. However, the amount from provider like Maximum coverage is not clear??? My question is 50K means for both persons or comined or what?

Default another question on deductable?

is it that the deductable is for every doctor visit? What I mean to ask is assume that I have a plan with 250 deductable. Assume that I have taken this plan for 3 months or so.

Assume that X goes to Doctor on 09/25. So he has to pay $250 which is obvious.

Now assume that he again goes to Doctor on 09/26 on different health issue or different doctor. Does that mean that he has to pay again $250.

I got this doubt as you compared health insurance with Car insurance? In Car insurance deductable has to be paid for each accident.
