When should one buy the Visitor Insuarnce?
a) Before applying for Visitor Visa in India
OR
b) After the Visa has been issued. How long does it take to buy insurance from sales agent or this site.


Is it a pre-requisite for getting Visitor Visa?

Buy only after the Visa is issued.

Buying online is instant .

Difficult to comment on : If buy from an agnet mean paper Form etc becuse that may vary from Agent to Agent and company to company.

its upto you whether you wants to have coverage as soon as ur mother leaves india. I believe you don't want any kind of financial trouble if anything happens during travel

When you buy online you have option to choose the start date, this date should be the one when she start travel.
