Default Pre-existing Conditions

Hi All,

I am doing some research regarding purchasing travel insurance for visitors. From the discussion forum on path2usa.com (very helpful site), I came across a post (6 months old) that mentioned TravelGuard as one company that covers pre-existing conditions.

I visited their website and found that they DO cover pre-existing conditions (up to a max of $25,000) IF the policy is purchased within 15 days of making any payment towards air ticket.

I confirmed this information by talking to a customer service rep.

My question is - the premium is comparable to Liaison (SRI), but since they cover pre-existing conditions it seems to be too good to be true. I would like to know if anyone has prior experiene with plan name is ProtectAssist.

Thanks,

Karthikeyan
