In brochure of Inbound USA there seems to be confusing information about insurance renewal.
In Period of coverage section it says: "If you initially purchase at least 3 months, you may continue to renew coverage for a minimum 3 months at a time..." In Renewal section it says: "If you renew the coverage for only 1 or 2 months,..." I assume the second information is correct. Please clarify. |

Vipul,
My understanding is that you can renew for additional 1-2 months if needed after you have it for 3 months. you would need to pay additional $10 for processing fee of sort. Also, if you renew by 3 months of multiples of it, you will get a reminder to renew for another 3 months but not if you renew for 1-2 months. -AD |

Read the schedule of benefits of Inbound USA.
Max. coverage for emergency room is $500. A typical medical emergency in the US costs anywhere between $3000 to $10000. Max. for CT scan is $500. Typically CT scans cost about $5000. Using Inbound USA is as good as going uninsured. Some of the other plans are no better. ALWAYS READ THE BENEFITS CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING INSURANCE. |
