H1 Transfer

Hi
I want to know if the following is possible with H1 Transfer. I have my H1 petition approved with Company A but I haven't gone for stamping yet. Now I changed job to Company B. Can company B initiate the H1 transfer and then can I go for stamping? I have all the details like the Petition approval number etc.
Please let me know. BTW, I am in India and have never traveled to US on H1.

no it cannot be xferred, btw, H1 quota is open, u can always apply for a new H1 from B.

Transfer is not possible. But the prospective employer can file a new petition either under cap system or file a new petition under non cap case category stating that he has been already selected in the quota system.
