Default Indian Passport Renewal - Question

Hi,

I am in H1B and also has AP (based on my pending I485) and travelled using AP in 2008. I am applying for my passport renewal and What should I answer for the following question in the application?

16 - Did applicant ever possess any other nationality or travel document of any other country? If so please give details.

I thought I should mention about my AP. But on the declaration section, it mentions that

lowe allegiance to the sovereignty, unity & integrity of India and have not voluntarily acquired the citizenship or travel document of another country. I have not lost, surrendered or been deprived of citizenship of India.
The information given by me is true and iam solely responsible for its accuracy. I am aware that it is an affence under the Passport Act, 1967 to furnish any false information or to suppress any material information with a view to obtaining passport or any other travel document.

What does this mean? Can anyone please clarify?

Thanks,
Swetha

YOu can safely answer NO to that question.
I don't think it refers to an AP, more like, if you held a Refugee Travel Document or an overseas citizenship etc from any other country. An AP in no way jeopardizes your right to hold an Indian passport.
