Default F1 to H4 and then H4 to F1

hi everyone,
I am here in usa right now on H-1B visa and my fiancee is here
on F-1 visa.we r getiing married in dec.
but we r so far and we need 6 month break due to some
reasons now i want to convert her from F-1 to H-4 for 6 months in dec and then
after 6 months she will transfer to the place where i live and convert from
H-4 to F-1.
Is that possible?
Does she have to go to ind for H-4? or can she get it from here itself?
if yes then how? whats the prodcedure?
Also her credits will be transfered to new college?

You can do this technically. But understand that F1's have to prove non-immigrant intent. She may not be able to get back to F1 later. Also, in order to get OPT (if that is your intent in changing her back to F1), she needs to be in F1 status for 9 months and I don't think her previous F1 time will count.
She can change to H4 and complete here studies without any problem.
Some universities allow some transfer of credit.
