Default Is there any problem in carryng two laptop from US to india

Is there any problem in carrying two laptops from US to india ?

Now a days i heard that customs dept were strict on carrying two laptop from usa to india,.

i am on h1 and currently in USA..i have two laptops with me.. can i carry those to india..may be one i can take the letter from company saying that one is company laptop and other is personal.

will they make a entry in passport reg the company laptop or not ?? i mean if i took a letter or if i won;t take ,what might be the problem?

is that ok for the current situation or still any options are there


please input all your valuable advices..

Carrying 1 laptop is officially allowed, but carrying two may cause some problem specially at Indian customs where , half knowledge custom inspectors are just waiting for person like you to make some money...from.

It is inappropriate to discuss illegal activity such as bribes on a public forum.
