Marriage Certificate H4

Hi ,

Please guide me I need urgent help . I am in USA and want my wife to join me on H4 Visa. She is in india and her stamping date is in Jan .
But the problem is we never made a formal marriage certificate but we have all wedding photos and all other stuff. We also have one kid.

Please suggest how marriage certificate can be made with me not going to india ?

Your wife can get it done from the local collector office, in the city where the marriage took place.

Thanks for the Info . But I checked with my wife , they all are saying that Husand and wife needs to be there to get this done .

Please tell me any place where it can be done in india without me flying from USA. I will appreciate a lot.

Khanna, tell your wife to get the Marrg certf forms and mail them to you. You will have to sign in certain places and mail it back to her. She can then fill them out and get the forms registered at the govt office.
