hello
i have an appointment at New Delhi in a few days for the stamping of my H 4 Visa, post my husband's renewal of his H1 for another 3 years. Among the listed documents to be carried for the appointment is the photocopy of my husband's passport. Unfortunately, it has expired & the procedure for getting a new passport will take longer than the time left for my appointment. Now I'm in a fix.
Last time when i went for the h4 visa, the official did not ask for it. Can i risk going for the appointment this time without a copy of his passport ?
well, its a problem created out of our own negligence, but is there a way out without cancelling the appointment ?
kindly advice
thanks

You will surely need a copy of his passport and there are high chances that officer may ask for this document.
You may take a risk by not carrying the copy of a valid passport, beter to have the copy of the passport.
