applying for Immigrant visa for parents at Delhi

Does any one know of any recent experiences of applying by a son/daughter (US Citizen) for immigration visa of parents at Delhi Embassy ? In particular, typically how long does it take to process such cases ?

Any pointers will be appreciated.
