Signature on online DS156 and 157 forms

Friends,
If I book an appointment for my folks online using VFS, which I have not done yet, what do I do for applicant signatures on both DS156 and DS 157 forms?
Do they submit them online and take a signed printout to the consulate inspite of the online submission? Or are they required to sign them at the consulate on the day of the appointment?

After completing the form online, take a printout . Aplicant will sign these form at appropriate required place on the form and carry it to for the interview.
If the applicable consulate is Mumbai , since they have a little different process, these forms need to courired to VFS, before inetrview along with some other requried documents.
