I have interview on 16th. When should I get the Bank Verification Letter
issued for me :- Actually, shortly I will be withdrawing substantial amount for
Tickets also. Should I get the letter before or after? Does it make a difference.

Do I need to show the latest ATM ministatement (taken 1-2 days before
the interview).

How will they get convinced that on the day of interview I have the same
amount in my bank as shown in the letter.

Anybody can deposit some amount, get the statement issued from bank
and can later on withdraw the same.

Do they give importance only to the latest statement or Average of statements
over last 6 months.

Also, I have already got Employee verification letter from my office on 1st.
I have they don't consider the letter issued 14-15 days before as stale ;-)

Please clarify my doubts.

HI,

You can take the statement before drawing the money. 15 days old documents are fine and also better to send 4-6 bank statements the regular ones which u get monthly.

-- You dont have to show any document that is 1-2 days old.
-- Consulate people understand that you have to collect a lot of documents and that you cannot arrange to get all of them 1-2 days before interview.
-- The letter from the bank can be 2 months old. But your bank statement should be within the last month
.
.
How will they get convinced that on the day of interview I have the same amount in my bank as shown in the letter.
-- They dont have to be convinced about that.
-- That is why the bank statement has to show the average balance for a year or 6 months.

-- They give importance to the last 6 months.
-- If they look at only the current month balance, then you could fool them by asking a friend to deposit a huge amount just before the interview and withdrawing it immediately.

-- Employee verification letter can be pretty old ( I believe upto 90 days).
-- However the pay stub has to be as recent as possible. The pay stub should be within the last month .
