My mother has an appoinment for a Visitor visa at the Chennai consulate in the last week of Dec. She is a widow and both her sons are in US. I have few ques and highly appeciate your suggestions.
1) Should we state that both her sons are here in USA or is it suggested not to mention that my brother who is not sponsoring her is not here in the US.
2) Is there a chance that the consular officer may run a search by Last name to find if any related one is present? :confused:
3) Is looking an for an alliance for her son a valid reason along with taking care of her parents, property etc for providing ties with the country. Any other reasons?
4) As suggested in some of the posts is it helpful to carry a document listing all the valid reasons why she might come back.
