DS-156 query

Hi,
One quick question about DS-156. In the site http://evisaforms.state.gov/ at the bottom of the page, there are two options to prepare the form. One is the e-form and the other one is non-electronic (in the Note section). The electronic form has "three" pages and the non-electronic one has "two" pages. The electronic form shows a bar code but the non-electronic one shows the word barcode but no barcode comes on the page.

Here is the question: can I use either option or we should use the electronic form only.

Please advise.

One thing I just noticed on the appointment receipt and wanted to share with all:

Important things to remember when filling out application forms: Answer all the questions.If you have no response for a question, put " none " or " nil "- do not draw a line or write" n.a." or " not applicable."

Regaring electronic form or non electronic form you can use either one of them. If you use electronic form you will be given barcode and a cope will immediately go to US Consulate and at the time of interview they can see you filled up application with the help of barcode. but you should take out a copy and affix your photograph and should take the same for interview. In the non electronic form you have to download and save it in file and either you can print it without filling the form or filled up form attach your photograph and take it for interview and they will read it and add your profile in their computer. ;)

When taking appointment how is this bar code useful ?
