Hi,
My friend in India is applying for MS (Computers) in colleges in the Bay Area and she wants to take a loan from an indian bank for her tution & other expenses. But the problem is the bank says she needs to show them the I120 to get the money released into her account (they have agreed in principle to give her the student-loan with her dad being the co-signer) but the admission forms ask for detailed financials to cover the 2-yrs. program. What kind of money is required to show in the Financial support, they have an apartment/flat - will that count ?
It seems like a catch-22. Anybody w/ this kind of experinece or experience with student loan for Masters please reply asap.
