DS 156 & 157 query

For DS 156, and DS-157 form, is the printout of their 'Downloaded PDFs'
from the Confirmed appointment in VFS sufficient?

Or do they also required forms filled in by hand.

Could anyone please reply to this post of mine.

As far as I know, I need to take printout of
DS-156 and DS-157 (the online PDF files which get generated after confirmed
appointment on VFS). And Sign the DS-156 form only.No need to sign DS-157
That's it. I need not take any other copy of these forms. Need not fill them
again.

Please confirm is this is actually the case.

There have been many queries regarding these forms on the forum. And I am getting confused now. What's the electronic, non-electronic versions of these forms
some people are talking about.
