We took 4600/- in HDFC bank
do we need to take 276/- DD also before taking appointment.

Hi Anusha,

If you have a bank account in HDFC, you can give the HDFC-cheque also for
Rs 4600 fees. I did the same. In that case you don't need to get the DD.

Regarding the service fees of Rs 276/- , HDFC guys accept the cash also.
So even if you have 1 DD/or cheque of 4600, rest u can pay by cash also.

There is a single receipt number for the complete payement (4600 + 276) done
by you. For different DDs there are no different receipt numbers.

Please check the Receipt number under barcode (in the HDFC bank recepit)
You need to enter that number while going to take online appointment.

So u don't need to take DD for 276/- and u don't have to enter that Info while taking appointment .Only info u need is abt 4600/- dd. am I right?

anusha, u don't need to enter the Demand Draft number anywhere.
Just submit the DD in HDFC bank along with 276 rupees service fee.

You will get a receipt from bank (which gets activated 2 days after submission
of your fees). That receipt has a number, which is the
'Serial Number' to be used while taking appointment through VFS site.
