VISA Appointent Date

I have checked the VFS site. For the tourism VISA in Chennai (English), I am getting the message "Interview dates not available". Do you have an idea, when I'll get the interview date (your site says 85 days for Chennai location). VFS doesn't say anything. Please clarify.

For Delhi, path2usa says waiting days are 19. In VFS site, I am getting "Interview date not available" for Delhi location.

Hi Sunny,

Do we have to fill out DS157 form also for taking appointment. i saw in this form that u have to fill DS157 form in all cases either it's male or female and either their age is above 60 or not?

Do we have to take only DD 4600/- or DD 276/- also before taking appointment?

yes i filled both forms.dont take dd for that appt.Go to HDFC bank and pay the amount.they will give receipe number which will take two days to activate.u have to give that number to get appt

Any idea why the dates are not available at Chennai (Tamil)? Are they doing some restrictions or some reform? Keep trying the luck at the odd hours for appointment is ridicules. The process has to be little better than this.
