Hi Friends,

Help needed, its very urgent.

Yesterday I attended interview in Chennai consolate for H1 B visa. Interviewer asked me about my US employer and about my project and client. I have answered them that i will be working for AAA client. He then immediately issued me 221(g) asking for documents regarding projects, duration of project and client and they also require a letter from the client AAA stating relationship with my US employer and about the project.

Now the issue is my Employer couldnt get a letter from AAA client, they are arranging for a letter from another BBB client instead.

Will it be a problem if I change the clients name, they have clearly mentioned in 221(g) to get a letter fromm AAA client. How can I explain this to Us consolate.

Is there any possibilities for rejection of Visa.
If rejected can I apply for H4 ,will this affect my H4 stamping.

Please reply.

thanks in advance

As a beneficiary of an H-1B you are not required to know the business details or contracts of your employer. Give the BBB contract and say that you mispoke or misunderstood or that is what you may have heard at the interview with your employer.
