hai to all,
i went to chennai consulate on nov 15th,2005 for h4 stamping.it was a quite an easy process provided u have proper documentation.i was asked for marrige certificate, marriage photographs, and petion papers and the passport copyof my husband and w2s.
he took 2 to 3 mints to entet dataand then he granted visa.that was the very happy moment.however when i got passport after 3days i checked for visaexpiry date.here comes the problem.
my huband is haviing the stamping in passport upto april according to his old company.He has moved to another company last year.he is having petition of the latest company and i showed that in the embacy.they gave me the visa expire upto my husband visa that is in april,2006.and they wrote the company name as latest company and petition number below it.and they wrote the PED as latest petition date some july 2007.
so , my question is i will have to travel other place before visa expires.or can i write the extended date in my I-94 when i travel to us.members of this forum, please suggest me on this issue.
