My parents had their interview on Nov 16th at chennai consulate. Their interview was scheduled at 12.15 pm and was interviewed only by 3.30 pm. They were interviewed by a lady CO . Most of the questions were asked to my mom . Duration of visa is yet to be known.
CO - Mom - Why do u want to go to US ?
Mom - To visit daughter and son-in-law and tourism
CO-Mom- How many childern do u have ?
Mom - 2, one daughter and one son
CO-Mom - whats ur son doing ?
Mom - He is working as xxxx in xxxx
CO-Dad - Are u working Sir ?
Dad- I am xxxxxx
CO-Dad- Can u show me the proof of ur income
Dad- Yes, here are the papers. When he was abt to take the papers from the folder, she said no need keep it with you
CO-Mom : Can you show me the supporting documents
Mom : Gave her the supporting documents
CO-Mom : Is ur son married
Mom : xxxx
Ok your visa has been granted, go and pay the fees. Have a nice time !!!
My parents were telling me that the CO was consistently looking into their eyes. They answered all the questions confidently. SO BEING CONFIDENT WILL LEAD TO Sucess. Goodluck for everyone who are waiting in the queue
