getting original documents from visa officer

Will the Visa officer return immediately all the original documents(applicants original bank pass book, land, house, property documents) back to the applicant even if they decide to issue Visiting Visa..?

or is it recomended to show them copies of all along with afidavit..? Please advise.

I would suggest taking originals and copies of the important docs and submitting copies. Give them the originals only if the officer asks. It will be a major pain to replace original documents in India if they get lost.
