what is good, one-way or round-trip?

Dear All,

My mother has a 10yr multiple entry visa and planning to visit me early next year. Is it recommended to take a one-way or a round-trip ticket? As the length of stay is totally depended on the officer at POE, what ticket should I take for her? I also heard about the tickets which are good for 6months/1yr. Based on the experiences of our members what is recommended?

Take 6 months open return ticket, depends on I94 date you can always chnage the return date.
Generally the I94 is given for 6months.
