who qualifies for resident of US currently in India?

I've been in US for the past 5 years on F1 and H1 and now
I want to apply for B1 visa.
When i went to the VFS website, there is an option for resident of US
currently in India. The dates are closer under that option.
Do I qualify for that ? Ive been in India for the past 3 months .

At the VFS Hyderabad,
I was told that I would qualify if I was living in US and not been away from US for 6 months before now.
In my case(H1) I was living in US on H1 before 3 months.
I was told that I can apply under "An Indian citizen resident in the US".
I am planning to get an appointment for B1.
Can anyone clarify ?
I am not sure if the person at the VFS was knowledgeable enough
