Hi My parents are appearing for interview at New Delhi. Does it matter in interview if my mom speaks. Like my dad is not good at english, he can answer in hindi or punjabi but not in english, My mom can answer in English very well. I want to shall they go for a translator or shall my mom lead. I personally feel if they opt for translator it makes an bad impression at first hand. Isnt it ? please advice I am confused.

Also when do they say we need a translator ? At time they enter US embassy in Delhi or where ? Coz till date we did not mention any where that they need translator.

Please advice any help would be of great use.

-Generally If any one of them can communicate thats fine.
-It is recommnded to take/opt for the translator at the time of taking appoitment.
- you may request for a translator at the time of interview and hopefully they should arrange one.
