Hello All,
I applied to six univs and three of them happened to be from the same state- same region. I did this primarily bcoz I was late and the deadlines were open for these univs. Someone now mentioned that it may make the visa officer suspicious. There are two scenarios-
1. I don't get into more than one univ from the same state and then won't mention the fact that I applied to three from the same state. Will mention that I applied only to four from four diff states.
2. If I do get in and get issued I-20s from multiple univs in the same state- can I still hide this fact or will it be in their system showing I got I-20s from these univs?
In general what can I do to convince the visa officer that it was just a matter of deadlines and nothing else?
