new rule asking birth certificate????????

the new rule by vfs asking original birth certificate of child for visitors visa......, how can parents have the original it will be with us in usa and we need it for diffenrnt puruposes and not safe to send original by mail............, so is it ok to send a notraised copy of it or only original is required...., kindly advice...........

If VFS asks for originial birth certificate, is it required for apointments made on the old TTS visas site for october for chennai consulate.
