For Parents Visiting A Child Resident In The Us If Child Is An Indian Citizen

1.child's Original Birth Certificate
2.photocopy Of All Pages Of Child's Passport

If My Husband Sponsors For My Parents , Does He Need To Submitt All The Above Documents Or Any Other Document As He Is Not Their Child

even if ur husaband sponsers , u have to send ur birth certificate and copies of passport not ur husbands ...........................

my doubt is if original birth is needed or just a attested copy will do?, since we will be having the original and here we need it for differnet purpose, how our parents will have original? si is original really necessary................any one please suggest

As far as I read on Path2USA.com , it says birth certificate required only if going to MUMBAI consulate. My parents are planning on attending the chennai consulate. Is it required for chennai too?

I guess this is as per the new website of VFS ( vfs-usa.co.in)
Now the service provide is VFS for all the US consulate in India, and they do have this as a required document, irrrespective of the consulate.

I am not sure how, important is this , will come to know soon once this new process kicked off in next few days....

I have taken appointment in the old website TTS visas for chennai for processing in Oct 3rd week. Does my parents still need to take birth certificate? What if there is no certificate available. Can we provide some other evidence like done for 485 of GC.

Where does it say that original BC is reqd? I checked the VFS site, "Required Documentation". All it says there is "Original Birth Certificate for children below 14 years of age.". I did not find anything else regd BC. Let me know.

original birth certificate of child is given , i think u not read it fully
