My parents have an appointment in Jan/2006. My father is currently working for a big company and is retiring in October/2005 and he will NOT BE getting pension as his employer is a Private Company. My Mother is a housewife.

My father has started a small business on his own in September/2005 (to be develpped after he retires).

My question is , when the Visa Officer asks for Employement, my father will be saying "RETIRED".But, if the Visa Officer asks for Pension, he will be saying "No Pension". Will this be a Issue?

Should my father say and show the documents for the New business that he has started on his own. But, this new business will not have any Profits /losses/additional employees by the Interview date.

While taking appointment, I have kept -RETIRED as his current status.

Please advice on the what should my father say when asked about Pension-----just say No Pension (but havevproperty and relations in India) ---- or --- should he say that he owns a new business. Please note that the information about small business was NOT mentioned while taking the Appointment.

Thanks in advance,
Gita

If your parents making regular/monthly income from the property like rents then it is important to tell visa officer.
Visa officer may ask your parents like below
"If you are retired and no pension then how you are making money to live?"

Good luck.
