Translator Question

Hi All,

My in-laws have interview in Bombay next week. I have 1 question about the translator.

They have taken the appointment by going personally to Bomaby center.

At the time of Interview can they ask for Hindi or Gujrathi Translator ?

Or we have to mention about this while taking the interview appointment itself ?

Any body has idea ?

they can request interpreter when they go for the interview (on the day of i/v after they clear security check they wld be given the option)

so are you saying that the mumbai consulate does not give an option for the interpreter
when the visa appt is scheduled? if it does, it will greatly help as the consulate would
have advance notice and hence would be able to reserve an interpreter for the appt.

I am not too sure abt the Mumbai Consulate but at Chennai Consulate you need to choose the interperter while scheduling appts. My friend's mom took a English appt and then after she went in she requested for a language translator. The Offcier asked her to get an appointment for an tanslator and then come back again.
