L2 -> H1B conversion

I've heard that there are some issues/problems in the conversion of L2 visa (dependent) to H1 visa and it is a little complicated?

Anybody has experience of conversion from L2 to H1?

The only prob with l2 to h1b is that h1b visa is subject to cap unless u previously held h1b status in the current 6 year term. (or u work for a cap exempt employer)

What do u mean by cap exempt employer, ronline.

non-profit organizations/institutions etc. ur attorney will help u determine if the employer is cap-exempt -
