I currently live in the UK and i have an opportunity to train with Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky the course will last from 3months to a year and i was wondering what type of visa i would need

If you are a UK passport holdr you may not need any visa fr short trip and not coming to work.

It depends on what type of course or training it is. May may qualify for J visa.
Check with the organizations adminstrative dept for such details.
